Responsibilities:
  • Lead endeavors to identify cost reductions and/or quality and performance improvements in our manufacturing and packaging of CNG equipment (gas compression systems).
  • Lead the product development and release to manufacturing of new CNG equipment, including: developing specifications to capture end user requirements; developing preliminary conceptual designs; overseeing assembly and testing of prototypes; completing detailed designs; and transferring released designs to the production team.
  • Manage third party contractor manufacturers, including: research and qualify new contract manufacturers; provide information such as drawings and specifications to support projects that have been contracted to third parties; provide project management for outsourced work; and ensure that contracted work meets quality requirements.
  • Provide assistance on installation and operation of manufactured equipment at field locations. Activities include: provide supporting data on finished units, develop equipment costing to assist with CNG station price estimating, troubleshoot problems in the field and provide root cause analysis.
  • Assist with the implementation of safety measures and quality control programs within the manufacturing segment of ITF.
  • Will have the opportunity to work remotely and will be required to travel frequently to our manufacturing facility in Midland, Texas.
SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related field
  • 10+ years experience with basic computer operations specifically using Microsoft Excel
  • 10+ years experience with engineering design of industrial equipment or infrastructure which may include ASME, ASTM, welding and electrical codes, piping systems, structural design
  • 3+ years experience designing or operating/maintaining high pressure natural gas systems and/or high pressure hydraulic systems
  • 3+ years experience working with environmental and/or safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineering license or ability to attain a Professional Engineering License
  • Experience programming software
  • State of Texas Railroad Commission Certification for Compressed Natural Gas
