Description
My client, a leading cosmetics packaging developer and manufacturer in the South East is seeking an interim Head of Quality for a six month contract.The right candidate must be an analytical and innovative thinker, with a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). They must also have knowledge of Health & Safety, be able to implement a Quality Management System, and develop and maintain a continuous improvement environment involving all Team Members.
The Role:
The Head of Quality will ensure that all activities are performed in accordance with company Health and Safety guidelines and HASAWA 1974. They will also head up the Quality Assurance team, undertaking Staff appraisals and ensure Personal Development Plans are in place to meet operational objectives, manage disciplinary and grievance procedures in accordance with Company Policy. They will also be responsible for the application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) throughout the function in compliance with business requirements and third party certifications, as well as ensuring all finished product complies with all customer, quality and legal requirements.
