If so, a key client of mine may have a long term career opportunity for you

Due to the changing needs of the business, I am looking for Mechanical Engineering specialists to provide expertise at the front line of the business:-

You will be required to use your technical expertise and knowledge, to establish the causation of mechanical systems failures and unsafe practice in industry and other work places across the complete range of plant and equipment that may be present there. You will find the job technically challenging but the variety means that it is never dull.

Using your technical knowledge and practical experience you will:

-Provide professional mechanical engineering opinion on a wide range of issues, equipment and applications including: design, construction, maintenance and safe use

-Preparing technical reports of your findings, analysis and conclusions, and presenting them to a Court

-Represent at meetings with fellow professionals, Institutions and Trade Associations

All in all then, it is a hugely varied role. You will be working with many different people at every level. The technical challenges are there - but so are the rewards. After all, every part of your work will be geared to achieving one goal: protecting people's safety and well-being.

We are looking for high calibre engineers who challenge, can think strategically, identify underlying core issues, engage at the most senior levels within an organisation, be decisive, work as part of a team and influence those organisations to bring about improvements.

-Sound analytical skills to identify underlying mechanical engineering deficiencies related to the supply, use and maintenance of plant and equipment

-Initiative, and decisiveness, making sound technical decisions based on available evidence

-The ability to write effective professional engineering reports and to present complex technical information in a clear and concise way for a non-technical and at times adversarial audience.

For the successful candidates, In return for hard work and commitment, we can offer a stable career, a highly competitive salary (circa £46k+), a fantastic pension and many more benefits.
