We are seeking a full time Web engineer that can help us build our next generation Ruby on Rails applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and documenting various aspects of our mobile networking web applications. Telecommuting possible.
Skills and Requirements
Expert in Ruby on Rails, Javascript and CSS. Working knowledge of databases and database design. Candidate should be experienced with full application design and implementation including both frontend and backend work as well as good working knowledge of all components on a web stack. Experienced with developing web applications for cloud deployment is a huge plus.
In addition, candidate should have a keen eye for good visual designs and usability best practices. Familiar with developing on a UNIX system like FreeBSD or Linux is also highly desired.
