Job Description

This person will oversee the market access, pricing and reimbursement strategies for all pipeline and on-market oncology products. This position is accountable for developing Global Market Access strategy. The incumbent will create strategy for profit and pricing for the existing Oncology business and future technology platforms. * Develop and set strategy to achieve and maintain market access, price and reimbursement for the Oncology pipeline and on-market product portfolio.

* Effectively leverage global payer expertise and utilize brand strategy, competitive profiles / positioning, clinical / economic data and stakeholder insights to justify product value. Inform launch strategy and establish pricing guidance for new products, indication/label expansion and emerging markets.
* Manage global price throughout product lifecycle. Ensure compliance with global floor price and pricing bands; assess changes and market events, whether elective or mandatory, for risk to global pricing strategy..
* Responsible for approval of Affiliate launch price and price changes for on-market products.
Establish guidance to Areas / Affiliates and Global Brand Teams to optimize price, access and reimbursement. Leverage global experience and product knowledge to support Areas/Affiliates in addressing market access, price and reimbursement challenges.
* Direct generation of resources and tools such as global payer value propositions and core value dossiers to secure price and reimbursement at the Affiliate level. Continually update Market Access and Global Launch teams with emerging data, competitive events and payer requirements. Validate payer messaging and utility of deliverables through affiliate feedback and external research.
* Liaise with International Product teams on the development of health economic and other reimbursement trials. In collaboration with Clinical, Medical Affairs and Regulatory Affairs, develop clinical strategy early in product development that supports broad market access. Work with commercial areas and clinical affairs to gather feedback from key opinion leaders and understand global reimbursement pathways; Lead cross functional initiatives and collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical, R&D, Area Market Access and Affiliates to ensure solid understanding of global payer markets and emerging stakeholders in the reimbursement area and translate reimbursement requirements into product specifications and assess potential reward and risk.
Job QualificationsMasters/PhD required
* At least 7 years of experience in healthcare reimbursement and health policy. Background in evidence based medicine, cost effectiveness research and peer review publication process
* Broad knowledge of government and private payer reimbursement / OUS experience desired
