An Embedded DSP Software Architect is required for a global leading semiconductor organisation in Belgium. My client provides High Performance Mixed Signal and Standard Product solutions that leverage its leading RF, Analog, Power management, Security and Digital Processing expertise.

For the embedded audio digital signal processing software team, my client is looking for a temporary replacement for our Embedded DSP software architect.

Job Description:
As an Embedded DSP Software Architect, your responsibilities would be:
• Design and propose updates & alternatives for the embedded audio DSP software architecture of our products, taking into account the product requirements and constraints of the business case formulated by marketing and the overall product architecture designed by the system architect.
• Estimate the embedded DSP software cost and represent the embedded DSP software part for the design trade-offs.
• Set the coding rules for cost-efficient and maintainable embedded DSP software and review the developed code against those rules.
• Lead and coach the developers of the embedded DSP software applications of the chip products and the developers of ported DSP software for audio DSP functions.
• You are working in the acoustics & audio digital signal processing software team in Leuven.

Job Requirements:
• Relevant experience as a developer and as an architect of embedded digital signal processing software.
• Experience with audio and voice digital signal processing is an asset.
• Pro-active, creative and quality-oriented.
• Skilled in written and verbal communication and in interaction with technical as well as commercial people, locally and off-site.
• Can work in team as well as autonomously.
• Fluent in English.
