Description
Basic/Required:- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 5+ years Oil & Gas industry experience
- 3+ years of experience with O&G Exploration and Production (E&P)
- 3+ years of experience with data management concepts and practices
- Intermediate knowledge of Upstream data and databases
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Geoscience
- Experience working with OpenWorks 2003 / R5000 data loading and synchronization
- Proficient in management of G&G data with Petra, Petrel, OpenSpirit, ArcGIS and Spotfire
- Expertise managing seismic, well, log curve, directional, geochemical and other types of E&P data.
- Proficient in MS Excel, SQL and scripting skills
- Knowledge of Linux or Unix operating system
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas Exploration and Production terminology
- Knowledge of well data standards, processes and technologies
- Knowledge of data management standards, processes and technologies
- Problem solving skills with the ability to solve G&G data related issues
- Able to prioritize requests and multi-task
- Ability to work under rigid time constraints and adhere to tight deadlines
- Ability to liaise with Data Analysts, Geotechs, and Business Analysts
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering results while maintaining a safe environment
- Generates effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions
