For one of our partners we are looking for a Sr. Functional Analyst Oracle
Core Result Areas
- Be able to function in a Scrum project environment, estimating and monitoring his/her own workload so the daily progress can be reported during the Scrum meeting
- Meet with and consult the product owners so the business requirements can be defined and prioritised
- Deliver documents describing the functional analysis for the development of a sales & trading web platform and the related operational processes, so the development team is able to perform a technical analysis and to create the application following the standard guidelines
- Load and manage data in a database, and perform data analysis based on queries
- Assist in the writing of test scenarios so product owners and application users are able to perform the appropriate tests
- Support the product owners and users performing the user acceptance tests so the tests can run smoothly and the search for problem causes is facilitated
- Document the new functionalities in a clear and concise way so colleagues are able to understand new functionalities
Experience
- 4 to 8 years of experience in relevant domain
- Minimum 5 years experience in the collection, analysis and description of requirements for web applications, by preference in the energy sector and the B2B sales & trading market
- Experience with data modeling and data migration/manipulation
Required skills and competencies
- IT knowledge
- Functional knowledge of B2B energy sales and trading (electricity & gas)
- Affinity with web-design and development
- Basic knowledge Scrum project methodology and roles
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL Developer & Oracle 11g
- Writing and executing SQL (focus on DML), knowledge of PL/SQL is considered as a plus
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge of Sparx Systems: Enterprise Architect is a plus
Work Schedule
3 days/week following project schedule: 8h/day
