Infrastructure Project Manager - Contract - Amsterdam
We are looking for a Dutch speaking IT Infrastructure Project Manager to be responsible for managing infrastructure changes, such as environment upgrades/implementations with the emphasis on co-ordination between multiple infrastructure teams & the respective development teams for a global organisation.
Activities:
* Responsible for the creation & approval of a technical design/architecture by using Technical Architecture Groups.
* Obtain signoff for the plan, budget, planning, resource allocation and technical solution/design.
* Functions in a leadership capacity in working with users in defining project and business, functional.
* Planning and managing all project activities from start to operational handover which includes requirements, strategy, testing, implementation, rollouts, training, and financials.
* Building and managing effective project teams, directs team members in activities and communicate goals, values and desired behaviour.
* Resource planning of the project in order to secure and deliver staff, in consultation with the line management. Where project management is responsible for the planning
* Responsible for performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and appropriate business measurements for their project/segment of the project
* Reporting project status to steering committee/project sponsor/Program Management/Management/Head.etc.
Experience required:
A minimum of 7 years experience in IT project Management
Knowledge of one or more project management methods (Prince2, PMBOK, etc.)
General knowledge of IT infrastructure
Good Analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
A good level of both English and Dutch (in verbal and in writing)
Presentation skills
Infrastructure Project co-ordination/leading experience
Prince 2
