OSS, R&D, SAAS, OpenFlow, SDN, NFV, cloud, PAAS.We are urgently seeking an IT technical expert with OSS skills.
Your responsibilities include:
Future OSS planning/software architecture design. Collaborate with HQ to design and implement next generation OSS from an architecture and operational view point. Business Requirements Analysis, by bringing the IT/ Internet innovations into future OSS planning. Discuss with customers on business requirements and present to stakeholders Future OSS opportunities analysis. Identify key technological trends by taking the IT/ Internet technology and business advantages into account. Analysis of telecom OSS & Services development trends to guide the OSS planning. Integration with BSS and other IT systems in terms of techniques.
Requirements & Qualifications (domain specific, partial qualifications taken into account) Master or higher degree in computer science, software architectures and/or communications or significant relevant industry experience. 10+ industry years experience, with at least 5+ years of R&D working experience in internet infrastructure PAAS, SAAS companies and/or Tier 1 search and online retail providers. In-depth knowledge and experience of IT infrastructure features or related O&M requirements, such as physical/virtual resource orchestration, system automation and self-healing. Experience in emerging networking virtualization (OpenFlow, SDN, NFV) and Data center networking. Expertise in the specification of API's to expose platform capabilities, from both internal development and B-2-B view point. Strong understanding of relevant business models and system requirements on virtualization and multi-tenant systems. Experience in cloud platforms development (VMware, Vsphere, AWS, Google App Engine). Strong interest and knowledge about industry trends. Fluent in English (written and spoken); Worldwide short-term travels are required.
Location;
This is a fulltime contractor position with 6 months renewable duration. This position will be based in Athlone, Ireland. Need to travel overseas according to business needs
