Are you interested in being a part of a growing and Top Hedge Fund? Are you a logical thinker with a passion for Big Data? A Top Hedge Fund is looking for a Data Scientist to join their team to interact with the Front Office and assist them with major Trading decisions.The Role:
- Interact and assist the Front office with trading decisions through research
- Investigate data related to the Macro Economy in creative and logical ways
- Construct Investment models for the Research teams
- Liaise the Research Team and the Frotn office to use data resources in ways that help us impact our processes
Your Profile:
- You come from a Top university and have at Bachelors Degree with an impressive GPA
- Experience with Data Analytic tools or as a Data Expert (Hadoop/Big Data)
- Skills in programming and database (Excel, SAS, Matlab, R)
- Familiarity with data on the Macroeconomic data or Market Data (Fixed Income, FX, commodities, etc.)
- Experience in Data requirements gathering, Data Manipulation (aggregations, derivations, parsing), or Data profiling (grading, modeling, metadata management)
