Data Modeller Investment Bank, Contract, LondonA Data Modeller is required by a client of mine based within a strong investment bank in London.
This is a hands on role which will require a strategic data modeller to come onboard to work within a newly built team. This team is being built to change the business environment and to produce a high quality, high performance and high through-put system that is scalable and future proof.
This specific data team and department are a key pillar of the investment bank and have implemented correct regulations around various business areas.
As the data modeller you will be facing off to senior level members and translating business requirements in to logical and physical models.
As the data modeller you will be required to hit the ground running and be self starting, this team requires the experience of someone who has developed detailed data models and data dictionaries to meet very complex requirements.
This is a 6 month rolling contract at market rate.
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience of developing data models and data dictionaries
- Extensive Data Modelling in relational modelling paradigms (Star Schema & Snowflake)
- Strong UML, XML
- Understanding of SQL, Oracle and Preferably NOSQL
- Investment banking knowledge - Preferably within the Risk space.
