Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Design and develop ETL solutions using Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) for interfacing between source application and the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Execute unit tests and validate expected results; iterating until test conditions have passed.
- Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation in existing ETL packages, mapping and workflows in production.
- Modify existing OWB code to provide defect fixes for existing ETLs.
- Troubleshoot defects to determine root cause.
- Performance tune the ETL process and recommend and implement ETL tuning techniques.
- Develop SQL and PL/SQL to create stored procedures for Business Objects reports.
Must have recent OWB experience. Should be well versed in design and development of ETL processes for large Data warehouse as well support production code base. Should be able to work independently with other IT support as well us users for operational support. Develop SQL and PL/SQL to create stored procedures for Business Objects reports.
