Description
A 40 year old hedge fund in Chicago is expanding their technology department and is currently seeking skilled Business Analysts to drive new IT Banking efforts. This is a full-time position located in downtown Chicago.This established hedge fund, made up of approximately 200 global employees, requires a technical Business Analysts with previous hedge fund exposure and experience leading testing efforts centred around Dodd-Frank Regulations.
The Senior Business Analyst will act as the main liaison between the firm's technical team and stakeholders. The role will be technical in nature, and require IT focused background, preferably in programming.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Documentation of Requirements
- Development of test plans and scripts
- Working closely with developers and IT Management
- Managing and coordinating multiple projects
- Liaising between stakeholders, traders and technical teams
Qualifications for this role include:
- Understanding of SDLC process.
- 5 + years of financial experience, preferably within a Hedge Fund IT division
- 3 + years of Business Analyst experience
- Exposure to Dodd-Frank Regulation Policy
- Experience with Use cases and user stories
- Experience with UAT testing
