I now have a requirement for a Sharepoint 2010 developer to join my industry leading client in the Manchester area, to join their already successful development team on an initial 3-6 months contract .In this role you will be responsible for developing and supporting bespoke web-based applications for the clients internal intranet site. This post is focussed on developing intranet solutions based on SharePoint 2010 and you will be able to demonstrate, proven commercial experience with developing these solutions.
This role encompasses all aspects of web development including gathering user requirements, advising on user experience, testing, information architecture, site building, developing bespoke components and integrating sites with other data sources.
Your Expertise;
- SharePoint 2010
- An expert knowledge of software development processes and best practice utilising the .NET platform and other Microsoft development technologies, including Visual Studio 2010.
- Modern web technologies such as HTML5, Jquery, Ajaxand web services
- Experience of designing for optimum user experience
It would be beneficial if you also have exposure to other elements of the Microsoft suite of technologies such as Reporting Services, BizTalk etc.
