Description
This individual will have responsibility for creation and maintenance of operational reporting and analysis. The job holder will need to effectively manage and assimilate a variety of disparate data sources into a cohesive and accurate portrayal of operational performance.The role holder will also be responsible for continuous improvement of the company's business perdormance and constantly evaluate opportunities to improve MI Quality. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to design and implement strategic anallysis to track operational performance.
Requirements for the role are as follows:
- Must have a numerate academic background
- Good working knowledge of other Bank projects and initiatives, including delivery timescales and impact on data management
- Understanding of cause and effect methodology through hypothesis and regression testing. Able to perform Root Cause Analysis.
- Knowledge, understanding and experience of tools for analysis such as decision trees, statistical significant analysis (eg Minitab, Excel)
- A good understanding of Operations and how this relates to the P&L
- The ability to understand and commission complex analysis to support strategy testing
- Knowledge of writing and presenting Business cases showing return on investments or return on assets to be presented to senior managements
- Experience/Exposure to Business Objects and/or SAS
