GBM Onboarding & Client Management Services is responsible for the onboarding and the on-going management & oversight of related due diligence & maintenance activities for a client, on behalf of GB&M.

The overall objective of the GBM Onboarding - EMEA Transformation Deployment Manager is to facilitate and own the delivery of the strategic rollout of the model across the EMEA region. This is focused on the primary objective of delivering an enhanced client management capability, accurate MI, robust control framework, consistent standards for onboarding and exit execution across the region. Secondary objective is working in partnership with functional area's deployment leads (Credit Services, Documentation, KYC and Account Maintenance) and GBM Product teams to delivery a coordinated and comprehensive onboarding capability.
The function will be accountable for ensuring that a standard on-boarding process is implemented globally and that the component parts of the on-boarding process (e.g. AML Due Diligence, Credit Risk etc.) come together to provide an effective and efficient service to the GB&M business with a focus on driving through optimization of the client experience.
The GBM Onboarding - EMEA Transformation Deployment Manager will be part of the functional senior management team and will be responsible for the following main outcomes:
  • End to end project management and ownership of the deployment of the GBM Onboarding model across the EMEA region
    • Develop, manage, socialise and own project plans
    • Manage risks and issues
    • Mobilise resource and re-assign as appropriate
    • Schedule and assign work
    • Monitor and report project status
    • Handle exceptions and problems
  • Strong stakeholder management with a diverse range of individuals and functional areas to include: Local country senior management, GB, Sales, PCM, HSS, GTRF, AMG, GBM onboarding support functions, Global standards and Service delivery.
  • Extensive experience in project management/onboarding lead/operations lead in financial institution
  • Proven leadership skill with positive attitude
  • Strong analytical skills and operational & control experience gained in Investment Banking environment preferred
  • Proven track record of working closely with key business users both client-facing and back-office
  • Prior experience working with diverse and geographically dispersed business teams
  • Strong MS Office Skills
    • MS Excel
    • MS Word
  • Extensive experience managing projects in a global environment preferably in shared services/client onboarding and account maintenance
  • Investment Banking experience in the operations / back office area
  • Clear experience of leading projects from analysis to delivery
  • Project management lifecycle / strong project management capability
  • Confident operating and holding dialogue with senior management
    • A highly motivated and pro-active self starter
    • Flexible worker who demonstrates adaptability
