Description
A Software Test Engineer is required by global leading semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis. These systems are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits that power an array of electronic, communications and IT products. The successful candidate will have a chance to work in the department Software Metrology, which will focus on developing and implementing effective and efficient software test methods and techniques that prevent our complex metrology software solutions to regress.Job Responsibilities
• Specify, design, develop, realise, and test subsystems within the limits of system specifications, costs and project planning.
• Cooperate with other disciplines and suppliers to ensure the timely realisation of competitive, achievable and serviceable products.
• Participate in the definition of system specifications. Contribute to the overall broadening and maintenance of our technology base.
Job Requirement
• MSc, PDEng or PhD in computer science or comparable
• Experience with C, C++, Unix or Linux, software test methods and techniques.
• You have a broad and minimum 5 years of experience in developing and implementing test approaches for complex in-product software systems.
Personal Skills
• We expect you to be a good communicator, team player, self-starter, to take initiative and to be result oriented.
• You have the ability to effectively influence your stakeholders to practically get our software test competence at a higher level.#
