Immediate contract role exists for an experienced ICT Service Support Administrator in the Kildarea area. Main duties to include: providing support, installation and monitoring services for technologies that include HP PC''s amp; laptops, networking amp; IP telephony, printers and backup systems. Administration of a fleet of 500 mobile devices including Smartphones, Blackberrys Windows 8 and 3G. Monitoring and maintaining core network and server availability by carrying out daily checks on systems and resolving issues. Administration of the procurement process for ICT hardware, software and services Key Technology Skills Solid understanding of hardware products including PCs, laptops, printers, fixed / mobile telephony and general network equipment. Strong knowledge of Microsoft products including, Active Directory, Exchange, Windows 7 and Office 2010. Good understanding of networking/broadband products (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, 3G). Exposure to security and backup products e.g. Cisco VPN, McAfee, Commvault, Experience with MS Systems Centre Manager; MS Lync 2010, MS SharePoint 2010 or Citrix an advantage Education/Experience Candidate will have a Third Level qualification in IT. Minimum of 2 years relevant post graduate work experience is required. Communication skills are an essential key requirement as you will be dealing with end users on an ongoing basis. Have excellent problem solving skills Ability to work within an IT Team to promote, develop and maintain strong customer service values.
