Description

This is primarily a telecommuting position; however, candidates must reside in the metropolitan Washington, DC, area in order to be able to attend occasional team meetings in downtown DC.

Required Skills
  • 3-5 years as development DBA using the MySQL 5.x suite in the LAMP environment
  • Strong expertise in data modeling and normalization, database design and development
  • Strong experience in Stored Routines (Procedures and Functions) and ETL Script development
  • Database and query performance tuning, sizing, and optimization


    • Desired Skills
  • Working knowledge of PHP DB access highly desirable
  • Work as part of integrated project teams on application and site design and implementation
  • Data Warehousing experience is highly desirable
  • The DBA would Report to the Technical Lead
  • Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/MIS/Engineering or significant experience in a related discipline.
  • Must be able to pass a Federal government clearance check and obtain a clearance
