Key responsibilities:- Ensuring Quality system procedures are managed, maintained and developed in order to continually improve and ensure best practice
- Integral in customer and legislative audits, ensuring compliance against agreed standards.
- Organise hygiene and product tests as a key member of the site HACCP team
Candidates must have the following skills and experience:
-Degree qualified in Food Technology / A related Food Science
-Relevant experience in the food industry
-Good understanding of legislation, food hygiene, food labelling
-HACCP qualification
-Experience of BRC or ISO
The selected candidate will be proven a quality professional, who will have a strong appreciation and understanding of operating to BRC standards and other auditing standards within an ambient FMCG business. You will have experience in dealing with the auditing requirements of a food business both on an internal and external basis. You will also be degree educated (advanced food hygiene or equivalent) and have an intermediate HACCP certification as a minimum. Other key skills include strong risk assessment, problem solving and decision making skills entwined with tenacity, determination and keen eye for detail
