Software Engineer (C++) - North West - £30-35 per hourI have a project requirement for an experienced Software Engineer with very strong C++ experience on a windows platform.
The client is a leader in their field and has currently enjoying a period of expansion. They develop a range of products which are used within industries ranging from Medical to Food.
Your role will involve working on the improvement of a legacy system, focusing on data compression. You will be responsible for pulling data from a product and integrating the pre-developed algorithms for compression into the system.
Embedded Systems experience is a huge advantage as you will be working with a product which has an embedded PC.
The client works is process driven environment therefore strong documentation skills and communication skills are a must.
Essential Skills:

Desirable:
-MFC (highly desirable)
-RTOS (VxWorks)
-Scientific Instrument Experience
This is a 12 Month contract opportunity with an early November Start date. Face to face interviews will be looking at taking place next week.
