Description

A Manufacturing Engineer is required by a global leading semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis. These systems are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits that power an array of electronic, communications and IT products. The successful candidate will have a chance to work in the Manufacturing sector, which will focus on both the production and installation of machinery and also be responsible for the final assembly, qualification through to functional testing and installation of modules in order to complete machine systems.

Job Responsibilities
• Support: Support the output versus planning. First line hands-on trouble shoot support for volume production (Test) and third line support for the install organisation.
• Machine technology: Have a detailed knowledge and overview of the status of all current volume machines that are actually produced including related technologies.
• Planning: Plan analyses and solution of problems including consequences for Volume Production and field operation problems (recover sequence and/or OCAP).
• Problem Solving: Point out structural problems (GH), analyse them and generate solutions whenever necessary together with Production Engineering and/or Development and Engineering.
• KPI control: Monitor the quality and timing of problems and implementation, including technical realisation.
• Knowledge transfer: Hands on knowledge transfer to Volume Production. Actively seek for knowledge within Pilot production.
• Cooperation: Work closely together with other support departments to secure effective problem analysis and continuity.

Job Requirement
• Bachelor or Master (preference) in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics/Physics
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience (graduates with relevant internship experience is also acceptable).
• Hands-on experience in a technical production environment
• Preferably experience with trouble-shooting: analysing problem, finding root-cause and determining solution
• Knowledge of quality improvement methods
• Experience in problem analysis of products and processes

• Takes initiative, is targeted, is flexible
• Is prepared to travel in order to solve problems in the field
