Description
Job Profile:· Creates, designs, integrates and oversees implementation of logical and physical data models and schemas
· Work with business analysts to transform requirements into logical data models in either UML Class or relational ERD formats
· Transform logical Class models into XML Schema (XSD)
· Transform logical relational models into DDL
· Assist to define the common canonical data model, leveraging industry standards
· Assists project teams with mapping existing data to/from the canonical data model
· Creates consistent definitions of key data entities across portfolios
· Help to define master data services for use by the business
· Collaborate with enterprise architecture domains to develop comprehensive solution architectures that emphasize the Information perspective
· Makes recommendations to management on data strategy and long term data and information direction
· Ensures appropriate training materials, documentation and procedures are created, available and enforced
