I am looking for an experienced Release QA Lead to join a top bank based in London. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new project within their regulatory reporting business.As the Test Lead you will be responsible for managing test activities by liaising with business and development teams. Analysing business requirements and reviewing design documents to formulate testing needs to ensure the system being developed meets business requirements. You will also be required to prepare test strategy documents covering test objectives, scope, environment, deliverables, roles and responsibilities, schedule, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies Generating reports on testing progress and the status of defects.
Requirements for the role:
Knowledge of Test Environments and Non Functional Testing principles
ISQTB qualified
Defining new and complicated processes and implementing/communicating these processes
Senior Project Management skills
Acting as escalation point for QA aspects of Group Releases
Responsible for the day to day task management of Group Release QA team
Ability to facilitate availability of testing environments by working closely with Environment and Project teams
Ability to provide governance for Test Phases within a Group Release
The right candidate will have proven experience performing these actions at a high level whilst working within a finance industry.
Contract role offering an initial 6 months and will be based in London.
