Job Title: Global Infrastructure Services Administrator
Job Type: Contract
Location: Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA
Contract Rate: Negotiable Daily Rate, up to $400 plus expenses
Contract Length: 3 Months+

Our Client, one of the world's largest outsourcing and IT consultancies, is looking to recruit a contract Global Infrastructure Services Administrator to join their team in Norristown, USA.

The Global Infrastructure Services Administrator will need to have the following experience.

· Technical Support (L2)-Entry level position for engineers. Works under general supervision in trouble-shooting and providing technical and developer support for products /solutions via email, chat etc. Makes changes based on client specifications and company standards for installations/enhancements. Performs administrative and other duties as assigned. Typically interactions are with systems administration teams at client locations. Responsible for escalation at the right time to field support / higher levels. Expected to be a learning member in a larger team.
· Monitoring and TT Tools(L2)-In addition to L1 below skills are required for L2 Ability to use basic Troubleshooting Techniques like Ping, Trace route, Telnet, etc to do first level diagnosis and incident resolution based on KEDB, CMDB etc. Will use first level Read-only access to access various network elements like Routers and Switches to diagnose and understand / Analyse status verification etc.
· Technical Support-Remote(L2)-Role responsible for receiving calls & logging complaints from customers as per specified standards; establishes and maintains excellent customer rapport. Executes a single point of contact role. Handles additional responsibility of assisting customers on all product/service related queries. Would undergo extensive process/product training and behavioral training prior to taking calls.
· Networking Admin(L1)-TIS - Network LAN(L1)Ability to Identify IP Address schema, Subnets, Subnet Mask and perform basic IP level diagnosis. Ability to perform basics of IP Subneting using CIDR,VLSM techniques. Perform basic port configuration in SwitchedL2 and L3 Network Basic understanding of debug & Show commands in VLAN, STP, VTP, PVST, Etherchannel Theoretical understanding of Bridge, Hub, Switch, Structured Cabling, Access point etc. Clear understanding of Ticketing Tools like Remedy, Magic etc, and able to create new tickets, modify/update tickets, Assign tickets to various queues. Clear understanding of Monitoring & Management tools like Solarwinds, WhatsUp Gold, Cisco Works etc. TIS - Network WAN (L1) Clear understanding of WAN Network Topology concepts. Should be able to effectively use Show and Debug commands to identify and understand network related incidents. Understand WAN Tech. like VPN, FDDI, ATM, FR, ISDN, PPP, HDLC, xDSL Understand and troubleshoot Wan circuit incidents using, Loop tests, port statistics verification, physical verification and coordination. Clear understanding of various Ticketing Tools like Remedy, Magic etc, and able to create new tickets, modify/update tickets, Assign tickets to various queues. Clear understanding of Monitoring & Management tools like Solarwinds, WhatsUp Gold, Cisco Works etc. Ability to use WAN Monitoring Tools like MRTG, Cisco Works, Solarwinds etc and understand Cisco Sys Log Reading, Ticketing tools, Reporting, SLA adherence.
· IP Voice Admin(L2)-1. Ability to troubleshoot and Monitor Call Manager versions 4, 5 & 6server health, Call Manager services health, Call Manager functionality, IP phones functionality, IP gateway health, QoS monitoring, L2/L3 switches, and applications are some components that we recommended for monitoring your IPT network.2. Ability to Configure and Troubleshoot Cisco AVVID infrastructure that include Call Manager versions 4, 5 & 6 cluster, IP phones, a PSTN gateway(s), a voice-mail system(Cisco Unity and/or a legacy voice-mail system),L2/L3 switches, routers, and applications such as Automated Attendant, Personal Attendant, Emergency Responder, CCC, CRS, and others.3. Should be able to understand the route plan and resolve issues.4. Should be able to Configuring and troubleshoot IP telephony station devices 7912, 7940, 7960, 7936,7920,IP Soft Phone, & ATA.5. Should be able to configure/ troubleshoot/ integrate Cisco.
