Description
ThisSouth Yorkshire based client is currently on the market looking for a Software Developer/Engineer with skills in Java, Perl & C to join their team to help develop high quality, robust and scalable software solutions.Your role will be varied and will include requirements gathering, writing technical specifications, testing and developing so would suit candidates with good all round software development and commercial experience developing solutions within an enterprise environment.
Technically you should have experience of:
- Java
- Perl
- C
- Linux
- XML, SOAP
- MySQL
Desirable additional skills:
- Agile Scrum
- TDD
- Jenkins or similar continuous integration technologies
- JBoss
- Tomcat
- MVC frameworks (Spring, Struts 2
- Mobile development
This contract will last for a minimum of 3 months, after which you will have the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff if you choose.
