MSDS, an integrated branding & interactive firm specializing in nonprofits, academia, and tech innovation businesses is looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to work with our team. Our front-end devs must be creative problem solvers with as strong an eye for type and design as a mind for clean code

- Turn Photoshop comps into exceptional front-end templates with HTML, XHTML, CSS/Sass/Less, JavaScript/jQuery, Ajax
- Enriche the user experience through innovative interface and interaction design
- Extend pages template design across site experience based on established templates
- Produce clean code that works on a responsive framework (Foundation)
- Produce exceptional work, on-time &on budget
- Polish design to perfection by leading front-end QA with Designers
- Actively coordinate and communicate with project managers and design/dev team
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and AJAX.
- Strong knowledge of standard web development tools
- Ability to code for multiple browsers, platforms and devices
- Mobile/responsive coding, preferably with Foundation
- Drupal themeing experience
- Experience with git and version control
- Ability to effectively manage your time and hit deadlines
- Have fun, work hard, kick ass, take names
Big Plusses
- Experience with dataviz: Highcharts, Google Charts, Mapping
- Experience developing complex, content-heavy websites
- Work for nonprofits and/or academia
