My Client is currently looking to a recruit an experienced senior EC&I design engineeer and be able to technically lead a team.Responsibilities
- Carry out specific design tasks to meet the time, cost and quality requirements of projects. This may include:- Scheme design generation, detailed design generation, Production of manufacturing documentation, checking and approving of deliverables produced by other team members.
- Interact with project management staff to achieve the best outcome for the projects
- Comply with JFN's quality policies and procedures with emphasis on design procedures, document control and approval of suppliers and sub-Contractors
- Be accountable for the technical management and delivery of projects within time cost and quality
- Maintain technical compliance with contracts and resolve technical conflicts where possible
Essential Criteria
- Must have sufficient knowledge and understanding of the Nuclear industry
- Experience of leading a design team
- Technical aptitude with a degree in related discipline (or HND)
- A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in a design role
- Conversant with legislation and regulations
- Experienced in producing standard design deliverables
- Experience of producing tenders
Working knowledge of block cable diagrams, scheme functional calculations, panel layouts, schematics, wiring/single line diagrams, method statements, cable calculations, FAT's.
