Job Overview
To lead single discipline and participate in multi-discipline assessment teams delivering ISO9001 certification and associated Aerospace Sector Certification Scheme (ASCS) certification.

Job Responsibilities
Undertake client management activities for assigned customers.
Act as Audit Team Lead or Team Member in Preliminary assessments, Stage 1 / Stage 2 assessments, Re-certification assessments, Surveillance and Follow Up Assessments in accordance with ASCS, contract and budgetary requirements.
Comply with company procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards.
Produce verbal and written assessment reports on time and to the agreed format.
Discuss and justify the findings of the report and agree the outcome with clients.
Undertake necessary documentation, data, administration and communication activities needed to successfully fulfil responsibilities
Pursue CPD and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness and to maintain Authenticated Aerospace Experienced (AEA) status on the IAQG OASIS database.
Coach other employees.
Identify new and additional business opportunities, advise clients on company services and action any resulting leads.
Lead or participate in special projects.

Job Requirements
You must be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Quality Assurance and its role in developing effective Quality management Systems (QMS) and Aerospace Quality Management Systems (AQMS) within the Aerospace industry.
You will need to satisfy the requirements of 9104/3 to either maintain Authenticated Experience Auditor (AEA) status or to be considered as a legible candidate for AEA status. 9104/3 experiential requirements includes 4 years within the past 10 years Full -Time work experience within the aerospace industry directly involved in engineering, design, manufacturing, quality, or process control for a major airframe manufacturer, prime supplier, auxiliary equipment supplier, and / or appropriate civil, military, or space organisation.
At least 5 years' experience with an mechanical / electronics/ electrical engineering background in the aerospace industry with a broad industrial background overall. Degree or HNC/HND qualified, ideally in an engineering discipline, e.g., electronics, electrical or mechanical, you will need to possess excellent written and verbal skills, be pragmatic and credible and have a high standard of personal presentation.
