Description
Infrastructure Manager is required for a 3 - 6 month contract based in The North West. Paying up to £450 per day (depending on experience)You will be acting as the first point of contact within the Infrastructure and Network teams for the Head of IT, and be able to quickly triage and prioritise tasks in line with the Infrastructure teams' SLA's.
Your role with include;
Management ,design, installation, monitoring, maintenance and performance tuning of production and test voice and data architecture.
* Delivering the highest levels of voice and data system availability and stability in line with Sovereign's BCP and recovery objectives This includes responsibility for developing, implementing, and overseeing voice and data policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of systems and their accompanying software
* Work with change and development staff to develop voice and data architectures, standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures.
* Write technical specifications for the purchase of voice and data related products.
* Using performance reporting and user analysis identify appropriate user training initiatives to ensure the highest levels of knowledge and adoption of technology in relation to the systems we use.
Technical Skills:
* Network LAN/WAN Services, (DNS, TCP/IP, Routing, VOIP, VPN's, IPSEC, MPLS)
* Cisco LAN/WAN
* Firewalls (Cisco ASA's & Checkpoint)
* Wireless (Cisco Wireless)
