For our client located in Maastricht, the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a Sharepoint Specialist.

Start: Mid November
Duration: 1 year + 1 year extension
Work location: Maastricht

The Sharepoint Specialist will continue development on a number of existing Sharepointsites and workflows, but also develop new applications, for which the in house programming expertise at our client is lacking. Some of the planned applications may be quite innovative and demanding indepth knowledge and programming skills. An important aspect of the work will be the unification of the different document bases into one Centre wide.

Job Description/Project Background
* Further developing, administrating and maintaining document storage repositories and workflows.
* Designing, developing and updating workflows (mainly for administrative applications) and innovative applications.
* Designing, developing and maintaining collaboration tools to improve quality, cost and effectiveness of the business processes and to ensure compliance of these processes with regulatory requirements.
* Developing and maintaining reporting and publishing utilities for both individual reporting purposes, as well as for Intranet publications.
* Providing helpdesk, training, documentation, user administration, problem, change, incident and release management on these applications in accordance with current quality practices.
* Acting as point of contact for customers including assembling requirements, suggestions, complaints and the respective follow up.
* Providing support to Internet activities, when required.

Education
Minimal level of Bachelors degree, or higher secondary education with professional experience in IT/programming.

Experience/Required skills
* SharePoint Development experience creating SharePoint features and solutions including custom web parts, custom page layouts, content types, workflows, and site templates.
* Proficiency in SharePoint Site and Central Administration (configuring and managing SharePoint Services, site administration, site creation, feature configuration, etc.)
* Programming experience related to Sharepoint (eg PHP, Javascript, ASP.NET, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, power Shell Scripting, CAML, LINQ, XML/XSLT, HTML/DHTML and CSS.)
* Working knowledge of related technologies such as: SQL Server 200x, Internet Information Server and Active Directory

* Written and spoken English
