Description

Prefer Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Quality. Minimum 2 years experience, verification and/or validation preferred.

Vital Considerations:
o The person in this position is expected to thoroughly test product using design specifications. Basic understanding of circuit design would be helpful.
o Medical product (hardware driven by GUI controls) experience is beneficial and preferred.
o Experience with FDA-related Design Controls is preferred, but not required.
o Experience with micro controlled driven devices is preferred, but not required. Ability to debug hardware and software would be useful.
o Must demonstrate experience writing and executing test protocols and reports.
o Expectations include: organized thought, strong command of English language, clear and concise writing skills.
o Proven ability to be detail oriented, with eye for errors and omissions.
o Must possess an ability to interpret product information within documentation.

General requirements:
o Deadline driven...Ability to stay on task, even in the midst of interruptions and pressure.
o Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
o Able to work alone, as a team, and/or under direct supervision.
o Takes pride in a job well done.
o Flexible in taking on different work assignments.
o Computer literate with MS Office environment.
o Proven to be proactive, resourceful and not afraid to search for details.
o Good communication skills with ability to speak up when issues need action.
o Ability to use basic hand tools, as required. Ability to use electrical lab tools (oscilloscope, multi-meter, frequency generator, counters, etc. would be preferred.
