Position Description:
Analyzes performance metrics on companies mobile properties to support decision making for key initiatives.
Project examples could include, but are not limited to:
- Tagging and labeling stories, video, galleries to facilitate analysis of content performance by topic and daypart. o Analyzing SEO impact on site and section performance
- Analyzing navigation and module components from the homepage and other landing pages
- Assists manager with creation of presentations, including building charts and tables, selecting imagery and creating other elements
- Assists with creation and delivery of standard reports
- Assists with QA on new products and launches to ensure analytics tags are in place and recording correctly.
- Works with manager to write requirements and set up new reporting dashboards and views for internal clients.
- Assists with ad hoc requests as needed by analytics team.
Qualifications:
- Has proficiency and routinely uses software applications that extract data from primary sources, ie Adobe SiteCatalyst, Bango.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in compiling and analysing data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to clearly articulate insights and recommendations in a compelling, easy to understand manner
- Solid project management skills - able to work on multiple projects, reprioritize as needed and consistently deliver on time
- Knowledgeable of emerging technology and media trends.
- 2-3 years of experience in digital analytics, consulting or related role for media group, publisher, ad agency, public relations or other content provider
- 2-3 years of experience with analytics software (Adobe SiteCatalyst preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including vlookups, formulas, logic functions and pivot tables
