Qualifications & Experience:
  • 2-3 years experience with relevant third level qualifications in a Science or Engineering discipline
  • A working knowledge of the AGILE, SAP, Microsoft applications is also desirable, as is a good understanding of GMP. The successful candidate will have experience with good documentation practices.
  • Previous experience in medical device manufacturing would be an advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities

The duties of a QA Technician will include:
  • Working with and supporting the department task team in resolving day-to-day issues in production. Provide quality focus and technical support for task teams.
  • Review all process controls (documentation and testing) to ensure that the process control systems are being adhered to and where deviations occur to initiate appropriate corrective actions and follow up to ensure that the required steps are implemented.
  • Monitor Q.C. records and production trends. Co-ordinate compilation and distribution of QC Status reports.
  • Generate reports and charts for key quality metrics.
  • Basic knowledge and use of statistical analyses and other quality control tools to aid decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for quality process improvements and work with task teams in achieving these.
  • Update systems and ensure compliance to specifications and procedures in area of responsibility
