- Job Title: Interim Deputy Director of Finance

Real Staffing are representing a leading NHS trust on the South Coast who require an interim Deputy Director of Finance who can support the organisation whilst they recruit substantively to senior positions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Director of Finance who is looking to play an important role within a developing NHS organisation.
Candidates must be confident in their ability to motivate staff and translate complex financial information to senior budget holders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of the finance function
- Providing the Director of Finance with weekly updates
- Monthly reporting on the trust's financial position and forecasting
- Acting as Finance Lead and reporting on the trust's CIP progress
- Financial support to contract negotiations and business cases
- Ensuring income and expenditure are accurately aligned
- Preparing the trust's annual plan
Essential Skills:
- NHS experience (preferably Acute or Non-Acute Provider)
- Band 8c/d
- Qualified Accountant (QBE not considered)
- Available to start work by the end of November
- Experience working within an NHS trust during budget setting, contract negotiation, annual planning periods
- Staff management (c40 staff)
