WebSphere MQ Specialist
Participate in the daily maintenance activities (incidents, changes, problems). Involved with project design, installation, configuration and fine tuning Ready for weekend changes and standby schedule. Security review, design and implementation. Proposal for new monitoring tools and review of current monitoring. Knowledge and trackable practical experience about MQ FTE (File Transfer Edition). Maintain existing connections. Guarantee the continuity of the MQFTE infrastructure. Draw up designs according the architectural guidelines. Perform system testing and implement corrective actions on findings. Participate as a Subject Matter Expert in projects. Perform impact analyses. Execute the ITIL processes. Perform configuration management and maintain the configuration database. Solve incidents and problems related to the file transfer infrastructure. Consult with project leaders. Maintain documentation. Perform key management. Prepared to participate in a stand by schedule outside office hours once every three weeks.
10 years on Z/OS (Mainframe), 10 years Unix, 10 years on Windows, 10 years WebSphere MQSeries, 5 years Message broker, 2 years experience within ABN.AMRO transactions systems and work procedures. Good knowledge of Unix Scripting. Excellent knowledge of MQ V7 and WMB V6 and V7 and V8. Some MQFTE knowledge.

Please note that the Mainframe experience is very important but most important item is very deep knowledge en min. 10 years practical and trackable experience with design and implementation of WebSphere MQ in complex environment in combination of MQ FTE and to be able to do complete support and troubleshooting of MQ and MQ FTE also on Unix platform. Put simply, a multi platform certified MQ specialist with last 10 years active and focused on MQ is what we are looking for.
