Looking for a mid to Sr level Cost Engineer for a direct role in Houston, TX. Background in EPC, Refinery, or Petrochemical will work. Will be asked to develop and recommend solutions to problems by interpreting and evaluation project information. Will have some limited travel to project sites. Will need to recommend solutions and help establish procedures and systems for the cost practices. Needs to be able to work within a team environment as well as independently. Experience in proposal, project reporting, cost control, scheduling, procurement and cost development.
- Responsible for maintaining actuals and commitments in cost system
- Participate in the preparation of monthly and weekly reports
- Liaison with EPC Contractor and client management
- Support project manager with business administration and support functions
- Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
- Good communication, analytical and presentation skills
- Quick Learner
- Team focused, flexible, willing to take on various challenges
