Description
SQL Data Modeller is required by a client of mine based within London's Canary Wharf.This is a hands on role which will require a strategic data modeller to come on board to work with a new team that is being set up within the IT department of this strong investment bank. This team is being set up to look after strategic risk across the various banking functions. As the data modeller you will be looking after both the Logical and Physical Data Modelling as you will be facing off directly to senior level members.
As the data modeller you will be required to hit the ground running and be self starting, this team requires the experience of someone who has developed detailed data models and data dictionaries to meet very complex requirements.
This is a 6 month rolling contract at market rate.
Essential Skills:
* Strong experience of developing data models and data dictionaries
* Extensive Data Modelling, Star Schema etc
* Strong UML, XML
* Strong Database design in SQL
* Investment banking knowledge - Preferably within the Risk space.
Strong experience is required in logical and physical as well as conceptual modelling.
