Description
We're currently looking for an IT Solution Architect (Senior) in the financial industry.
As a Solution Architect your purpose is to develop, advice on- and execute the Architecture policy, standards and/or strategy of Payments department.
For this purpose you will translate the client's business requirements into specific architectural designs of systems, applications or processes ensuring a good balance between cost and quality. You will support the implementation projects and validate the proposed solution.
You will contribute to the development of Building Block architectures and Solution architectures (for changes) that meet the needs of the organization. You will focus on the creation of foundations for the Building Blocks that are in the stage of 'potential standard'.
You are skilful in multiple Building Blocks as you define best practices for the assessment, selection or development of software components and hardware requirements. (Including evaluation and selection) You are responsible for the functional application-interfaces and for the usability of applications.
The initial length of the contract is 6 months with an option for extension. The location is in the Randstad area.
Required experience:
Knowledge of payments business
Commercial banking in general
Experience with package implementation, integration of architecture
Fluent English (written and oral)
PowerPoint skills
Experience as an Solution Architect (pref. recently)
Lives in The Netherlands
