Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Sr. Java Developer for a 6 month contract for hire project in Simi Valley, CA. Individual should have at least 8 years professional development experience with 3-5 years of Java development. Selected individual will design and implement advanced browser- based UIs, as well as design/build frameworks and reusable code for use across all products. Individual should have experience with Java/J2EE technologies including Servlets, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, JMS, and RESTful Web Services. This position will be a combination of 60% Front End GUI and 40% Server Side development of Web Services. Individual should be knowledgeable of full life cycle development (SDLC). A few current applications are running on .NET framework and will need to be maintained until they're rewritten for J2EE/Java/Spring framework. Exposure to C# on VB.NET is a plus but not required. Experience with building new UIs to existing Back End Legacy applications is a plus. Qualified applicants can e-mail resumes for consideration.
