Position DescriptionSpecific responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Responsible for all aspects of clinical trial materials packaging, labeling, distribution and inventory management
- Support the analysis of current processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate packaging and labeling activities with external vendors for various clinical protocols
- Work cross-functionally to develop strategies and to support organizational goals
- Initiate and troubleshoot supply shipments (drug and non-drug)
- Manage the approval of label text for multiple countries/regions
- Coordinate drug reconciliation activities
- Develop and maintain forecasts
- Support the implementation of pharmacy procedures
- Sit on Cross functional study teams as Global Pharmacy and Logistics Management representative.
Position Requirements
Minimum requirements needed for this role:
- B.A./B.S. degree required; scientific discipline preferred
- Minimum 3 years in the Pharmaceutical industry with at least 3 years in clinical supply chain management and basic GMP knowledge
Ideally candidates will also have:
- Ability to thrive in a small group setting with limited administrative support, developing and maintaining collaborative internal and external relationships
- Ability to work effectively with Clinical Operations, CMC, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and external vendors to meet aggressive deadlines for release of clinical supplies
- Experience in vendor management
- Experience with IVRS systems
- Supervisory experience (preferred not required)
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to travel at minimum 10% annually
- Flexiblity; adapts work style to meet organization needs
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills; detail-oriented
- Understands and effectively responds to multi-cultural communication styles
