Position Description

Specific responsibilities to include but not limited to:
  • Responsible for all aspects of clinical trial materials packaging, labeling, distribution and inventory management
  • Support the analysis of current processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate packaging and labeling activities with external vendors for various clinical protocols
  • Work cross-functionally to develop strategies and to support organizational goals
  • Initiate and troubleshoot supply shipments (drug and non-drug)
  • Manage the approval of label text for multiple countries/regions
  • Coordinate drug reconciliation activities
  • Develop and maintain forecasts
  • Support the implementation of pharmacy procedures
  • Sit on Cross functional study teams as Global Pharmacy and Logistics Management representative.


Position Requirements

Minimum requirements needed for this role:
  • B.A./B.S. degree required; scientific discipline preferred
  • Minimum 3 years in the Pharmaceutical industry with at least 3 years in clinical supply chain management and basic GMP knowledge


Ideally candidates will also have:
  • Ability to thrive in a small group setting with limited administrative support, developing and maintaining collaborative internal and external relationships
  • Ability to work effectively with Clinical Operations, CMC, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and external vendors to meet aggressive deadlines for release of clinical supplies
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Experience with IVRS systems
  • Supervisory experience (preferred not required)
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Ability to travel at minimum 10% annually
  • Flexiblity; adapts work style to meet organization needs
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills; detail-oriented
  • Understands and effectively responds to multi-cultural communication styles

  • Holds self and others accountable for adherence to high ethical standards; adopts and maintains the utmost integrity, discretion, and respect for colleagues at all levels


  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; clear and concise
