Automation / quality assurance engineer -ChicagoI am currently recruiting for a new automation opportunity with one of my clients, a major trading firm in Chicago. Here is a brief description of the role:
* Design and develop code and tools for automated testing
* Develop solutions and implement tasks for continuous delivery of software such as managing application builds and deployments
Requirements
* 5-6 years of software development experience; extensive programming experience in Java
* Experience with at least one testing framework like JUnit, TestNG, etc.
* Knowledge of test automation platforms, Selenium, or testing frameworks, Cucumber
* Expertise in SQL (for Oracle), familiarity with XML, experience working on Linux platform, and basic knowledge of middleware interfaces
* Solid comprehension of automation techniques and strong coding skills
* Scripting skills (Shell, Perl, Python)
* Plus: Knowledge of any JVM language like Groovy, Scala
