VB6 Software Developer York 3-6months £280-£320I am working with a transportation company with offices based inYork, who are looking for a software developer to work on a VB6 development project.
The role would require someone with recent working experience with VB6 and ideally VB.Net. The role will be working on a VB6 resource management project for one of their European Clients.
Required skills
VB6
VB.Net
Oracle Database (though SQL database with elements of Oracle would be considered)
Desired Skills
Agile Methodology experience
Strong communication and client facing skills.
Due to the nature of the role, there is likely to be continuing development work once the project is complete, in both VB6 and potentially in VB.Net as well. The client is moving gradually to VB.Net.
