Description
6 month contact in Chevy Chase, MD, for a Windows Systems Administrator. Provide 3rd level support for Windows Infrastructure and the applications running on the Windows platform. The person will also be part of the team that develops, documents, and publishes standards and procedures for server infrastructure. We are looking for an individual that can assist with the automation of existing and new processes. This would include but not limited to installing operation systems, design and implementation of infrastructure hardware, and infrastructure support systems. Overnight support of Production changes will be required, so a flexible schedule is a necessity. Windows Infrastructure needs the resource to assist with Level- and Level-2 tasks like provisioning Servers, deploying hardware and OS patches and fixes, conversion of Servers from physical to virtual for lease replacement support. We are also looking for someone to assist with the Virtual to Virtual migrations from our Legacy network environment to our Next Gen network environment.We will call qualified candidates after review. - 3+ years IT Systems Administration experience
- Experience with: VMWare Virtual Support, Windows Server 2008 R2 Support, Active Directory Support, Technical Writing/Documentation
- Flexible schedule, willing to provide overnight support as needed
