My client is looking for an Infra Integration Expert for either a contract or permanent role in MontenegroBrian Swannell Recruitment Consultant at Bellitto Systems Ltd
Job Description:
• Set up, installation, maintenance and support onsite environments (UAT, training, development) and Production/PET environments (before go live)
• Support the customer in ongoing maintenance of the Production/UAT/PET environment and Monitor tools
• Coordinate releases, HFs and patches, working with the infra team in the development center
• Check and correct problems that are not immediately evident in existing systems or processes
• Ensure the ongoing operation of the infrastructure tools according to the definitions and needs of the project
• Assistance with development and processing of the tests in part of Infra
• Infra support of the system operation, including tuning of monitoring tools and procedures (when needed)
• Support and hands on for set up, installation, maintenance and support of System Unix (Linux) and 3rd party SW (e.g. Weblogic)
• Performance Tuning on Web Applications, weblogic and unix
• Involvement in cross activities with other Infra domains, application developers, testing and migration teams
• Involvement in integration activities with external and 3rd party systems – where infra participation is required
Job Requirements:
• Proven hands-on experience with one or more enterprise UNIX operating system : Red Hat Linux, HPUX , Solaris or AIX – big advantage
o Comfortable with most aspects of operating system administration; for example, kernel configuration, system installation and configuration, fundamentals of security, installation of third-party software.
o Solid understanding of a UNIX-based operating system; understanding of paging and swapping, inter-process communication, devices and what device drivers do, filesystem concepts (inode, clustering, logical partitions).
o Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts; can configure NFS and NIS, understanding of basic routing concepts.
o Understands SAN, NAS frames and its use in mainly Unix environment
o Experience in clustering technologies - HP MCSG, VCS (veritas cluster servers)
• Technical certification - big advantage
• Strong SQL background
• Experience in Weblogic administration and configuration - advantage
• Scripting in Perl, shell scripting and C
• Knowledge in
o Jars handling (insert / replace / delete files in the jar)
o J2EE Application servers
o XML
o TWS
• Experience in
o Monitoring tools, for example HP Open View
o DRP
• Past experience in Infra area (complex, multiplatform systems) – big advantage
• Past experience in Telco – advantage
• Understanding of telecommunication system – advantage
• Customer facing skills, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to multitasking work
• Self-Learning ability
• Ability and willingness to work long hours
• Ability to work in 24x7 mode, in shifts and in on-call mode
• Independent worker
• Must be flexible to travel
o Ability to travel for short / long term business trips
• One of the following academic backgrounds:
o B.A. in Computer Science
o Engineer
o B.A. in any exact Science
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
