A small Chicago start-up company is seeking an intelligent, innovative, and experienced front-end developer to join their team. The company is working on an exciting new product and is in need of a JavaScript expert to hold a lead role on their development team. The developer should be not only skilled technically, but interested in being involved with a start-up culture.This stimulating opportunity will entail:
- Working with a small team of developers to create attractive web APIs
- Recognizing trade offs between performance, maintainability, and scalability in architectures
- Designing fault tolerant Use Interfaces
- Unit and Integration testing in order to guarantee quality code
- Swifly prototyping and interating on front end features and interactions
- Sustaining front end continuous system integration
- Keeping up to date on the newest, most cutting edge front end technologies, and implementing alternative technologies
Qualifications:
- JavaScript expertise
- HTML
- CSS
- Exposure to other languages (C#, Java, PHP, Python, etc.)
- It is highly preferred that developers are knowledgable in Photoshop and Graphic Design
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and wear multiple hats
- A strong passion and interest in learning and implementing new, cutting-edge tools and technologies
- An ability to collaborate with others and enthusiastic about joining a start-up environment
