Real Staffing are working alongside an NHS Acute Trust in London who urgently need an interim Finance Manager to support their clinical services.
This is the ideal opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant with a background in Acute NHS finance and experience supervising junior staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating the month-end closedown process
- Budget setting and forecasting
- Variance analysis
- Reporting on the trust's income and expenditure
- Monitoring and tracking divisional CIP schemes
- Preparing board reports
- Financial support to business cases
- Staff supervision of management accountants
- Liaising with clinicians and advising budget holders
- Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager
Essential Criteria:
- Qualified or Finalist Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA)
- Operate at Band 8A
- Recent experience within an NHS Acute or Foundation Trust
- Managed acute clinical budgets
