Senior Business Analyst is responsible for understanding and documenting Business and Technical requirements and functional architecture. The successful candidate will ensure appropriate testing, training and implementation of applications and process. They shall provide Quality Assurance supervision and drive project/service delivery. The Sr. Business Analyst is also responsible for the interpretation of business needs and consults on best practices.

Responsibilities:
Formulate and define project scope and objective based on user needs and thorough understanding of business processes.
Formulate and define detailed requirements derived from project scope and objectives.
Work with internal business groups on process improvements designed to improve business results.
Provide guidance concerning business implications of application development projects.
Gather and analyze information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.
Perform all aspects of eliciting and translating business requirements into solutions to include documenting requirements, making data changes, managing the product backlog and tracking project schedules.
Maintain requirements list and/or product backlog.
Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and cost estimates for each release.
Elicit, capture and maintain all business and process requirements related to the business configuration of the platform.
Assist in development of system requirements.
Coordinate with environment team and data infrastructure process.
Create and review test plan and test cases to ensure that all aspects of the requirements are adequately tested.
Ensure compliance with process and methodology in presenting a comprehensive understanding of design options.
Provide reference materials to support training needs.
Assist with functional test prioritization process which includes recommendations and risk evaluation.
Consult on system requirements and design documentation.
Participate in the planning process for environment migration.

Successful execution of this role will require strong thought leadership as well as excellent communication skills with technical and business customers. Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
8 years of experience in IT projects
5 year of experience in Business Systems Analysis and Design
Strong communication skills
Problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and qualityPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in MIS, Engineering or Business
10 years of experience in IT projects
6 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis and Design
Experience with Agile Development or other rapid cycle development processes
Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server
