Senior IdM Analyst

This is a 3 month Contract opportunity.

The IdM program is responsible to provide the Identity and Access management infrastructure, technology and foundational apps/systems to support the secure and easy-to-use access to information for not only staff, but also citizens and businesses. To keep the pace with the accelerating change and understand how emerging technologies such as Mobile app, Cloud, Social identities will impact information access, and to align with large initiates like tomorrow's workplace, it is necessary to develop an IdM roadmap for future phases and update the existing IdM architecture.

A Senior Identity and Access Management (IdM) Analyst is required to perform a future IdM roadmap development by a joint effort with the IdM team to assess the IdM program implementation (Phase 1, 2 and 3) and plan future IdM implementation phases in line with recent industry trends and best practices in order to tackle emerging challenges and support initiatives.

• Stakeholder interviews, environment baselining, requirements gathering/documentation/review, document review sessions, and consensus building sessions between IdM team and stakeholders.
• Identification of relevant industry trends and best practices, including Mobile app authentication, federation, Identity and access governance, privileged access control, social identity and IdM in the Cloud.
• Assessment of IdM program implementation (phase 1, 2 and 3).
• Gap analysis and definition of recommended improvements, future phases and projects, update of the existing IdM architecture.
• Definition of IdM roadmap for future phases to recommend improvements, projects, and time/cost estimates. Deliverables:
• Provide a report recommending future IdM roadmap and project phases.
• Draft a business case for IdM roadmap implementation plan with time and cost estimates.

Required Skills:
• Proven experience with Identity and Access Management analysis (5 years).
• Proven experience with strategy and roadmap development in Identity and Access Management area ( 2 years).
  
  Desired Skills:
• Previous work experience with Municipal, other Government Organizations or equivalent endeavours.
• Effective communications skills and practical experience in the preparation of management level interviews, presentations and reports.
• Experience on enterprise level Identity and Access Management system strategy and roadmap development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the industrial trends and best practices in Identity and Access Management sector.
